Steve Harvey was recently brought to tears while on air for the Steve TV Show after gospel singer Duranice Pace sang prophetically over him. In a video that has gone viral, with over 11 million views, Harvey says between paused tears, “You think I’m helping you. But you’re really helping me.”
Pace, who was horrifically abused as a young child and even fed rat poison once which claimed half of her vocal cords. Doctor’s said she would never be able to talk again, let alone sing; but after God’s divine intervention, her singing voice was saved.
“I believe the Lord gave me a touch when they fed me rat poison in Rochester, NY, and they had to cut out half of my vocal cords. And they said I would never talk again, but the man upstairs said, ‘You gonna sing again’,” Pace shared.
Then, to the astonishment of all present, Pace began to prophetically sing over Harvey: “This is Steve Harvey, he’s a good man. He loves the Lord and he’ll give you a helping hand. God’s going to bless Steve Harvey,” she sang. “Keep on, keep on, you helped me to live, sir, keep on … you special.”
With tears in his eyes and unable to speak, Steve watches as the audience raises to their feet acutely aware of the powerful moment they are witnessing. Watch as Harvey goes on to share about his mother and the power of faith below.
Shortly after the taping of this divine appointment, Harvey tweeted: “God really wants to help us, but he requires that we have a relationship with him. If you’re out here trying to make it without God, you are making life harder than it needs to be. There is a higher power, there is a God. It’s time to get in touch with God.”
God really wants to help us, but he requires that we have a relationship with him. If you're out here trying to make it without God, you are making life harder than it needs to be. There is a higher power, there is a God. It's time to get in touch with God. #FridayMotivation
