“Duck Dynasty” star and author Sadie Robertson announced this week that she would be teaming up with World Vision this Christmas, urging fans to do the same.

Each year World Vision holds a give-back event in which they encourage people to donate to their humanitarian organization or to sponsor a child through them. This year, they added a prayer tree to their exhibit, which can be found in Bryant Park in New York City.

Earlier this week Robertson asked her 3.1 million followers to follow her along on her trip with World Vision to New York City, while simultaneously encouraging them to get involved as well.

“HEY FAM!” she wrote in an Instagram post Monday. “I will be at World Visions Give-Back Gift Shop at Bryant Park in New York City tomorrow morning with World Vision talking about Giving Tuesday and all that we can do to give to people all over the world that will literally change a families LIFE! You can catch me on Fox and Friends in the morning and a few other shows to air later or come to the gift back shop and see us. Everyone of you can be involved! Follow along tomorrow to learn more🧡💥 @worldvisionusa.

Robertson once told CBN News that one of the reasons she loves World Vision is because they do way more than support children materially.

“There are so many organizations out there, but this one gives to over a hundred countries,” she explained. “They give animals, they give water–they do it all.”

On Monday, she shared a photo to Instagram, in which she, again, encouraged her followers to partner with World Vision in honor of Giving Tuesday:

“LIGHTING UP NEW YORK CITY THIS MORNING WITH PRAYERS, HOPE, AND LOVE!!! How special?!? go to worldvision.org and be a part of giving for giving Tuesday tomorrow with @worldvisionusa … they are matching all the donations! Your donations are changing LIVES!”

This is the second year that World Vision has opened a give-back pop-up shop in New York City, and their first featuring a Christmas tree. The Give-back online shop works to determine the specific needs of people around the world, such as clean water and school supplies, that we often take for granted.

The pop-up shop was open from Nov. 25-27 in Bryant Park, where people also had the option to write prayers and hang them on the tree.

“I pray that hatred, intolerance & bigotry will stop. That all creatures of this planet will have enough to eat,” one card read, according to The Christian Post.

“Lord, please bless my family, friends, our city and our world. Help us to live for you and let our light shine,” another card read.

“I think that’s really special. I love analogies. I love visuals and so this is a great visual to tell kids, ‘what do you hope for kids around the world?’ and bring this hope into this tree and show that when you hope for something it lights up this tree,” Robertson told the Post.
