President Trump Pledges to Restore and Protect Prayer in Schools

Share:

The President is in full support of prayer reentering the public school system. Not only is he in support but he is going as far as prioritizing it.

President Trump announced at a campaign rally in Miami his support for prayer coming back to schools. El Rey Jesus Church hosted this gathering as they launched a coalition of evangelical Trump supporters.

Trump shared, “Very soon I’ll be taking action to safeguard students’ and teachers’ First Amendment rights to pray in our schools. They want to take that right along with many other ones.” Continuing that, “America was not built by religion-hating socialists. America was built by church-going, God worshiping, freedom-loving patriots.”

In America, we don’t worship government, we worship God.

The President declared, “In America, we don’t worship government, we worship God. These angry radicals want to impose absolute conformity by censoring speech, tearing down crosses and symbols of faith and banning religious believers from public life.”

The crowd chanted “U.S.A, U.S.A” in support. Even the mention of faith bias can get educators in major trouble in our education system. This new support from the President can bring radical change for our public schools.
