Animal Classroom is dedicated to celebrating the lessons animals can teach us humans and this video is taught by the best-dressed animal around: the penguin!

A little bird told me that penguins have a lot to teach us about love. These love birds pair off in monogamous relationships to form families and partner like pros— when one parent heads to work on a fishing trip, the other stays home with the baby.

Since these animals hang out in such large crowds, after a hard day’s work of fishing, it can be difficult for penguins to find the rest of their family. When faced with this dilemma, these animals decide to just wing it and holler out loudly to announce to their partner, “Honey, I’m home!” Penguins shout out their undying love for their beloved until the other recognizes the call, allowing them to be reunited for a nice family meal.

Perhaps we can take a cue from penguins and be a bit bolder in declaring our love for those special to us?

This video also showcases penguins’ enthusiastic approach to expressing their affections. Perhaps it has something to do with their arctic environment, but when one penguin falls hard for another, they are incapable of playing it cool. Heating up with passion, penguins dance for joy when they spot someone they love.

Need a little help in the romance department? Perhaps you can find a penguin love-coach who will be willing to take you under their wing, or you can just watch this video for more love advice from our penguin friends!
