Don’t stay there on your knees weighed down by worry or grief. Use your courage to get back on your feet.
Get back up warrior. There is much still to do. Don’t allow shame to hold you down. Don’t allow grief to sap your strength.
You stumble, and sometimes you fall. But when you hear my call within your life you will know the way. Those things that hold you—the chains that bind you—are released through love. Watch as they fall away through forgiveness. I am here to hold you. To help you. So, stand back up now.
Will you do it? Will you do what needs to be done?
Start by letting go. Make amends. Say you’re sorry, apologize where you must, but be accountable. Say the words that are needed. Mean them in your heart. Then stand back up. Receive my love and mercy. Stand in my grace. Feel my love strengthening your limbs. I will share my very breath with you and breathe courage into your broken heart.
No one said it would be easy. You only have to look to the cross and the pain endured to see that truth. Don’t lay there weeping. Choose to stand up instead. You are a warrior—My warrior.
You stumbled and stood. Let’s turn your pain to purpose. Take courage. Be bold. Fly, fly to my open arms. It’s time.
