When we read the Bible, the geographical areas described often feel as fantastical as Narnia or Hogwarts, but Israel is a very real place and it’s possible to visit all the places that Jesus Himself once walked. In this video, we join Katherine and Chibwe from the LightWorkers’ team as they take a powerful trip to Israel to visit the Holy Land.

Although they had been forewarned that visiting Israel for the first time would feel just like “going home,” they didn’t expect the sense of familiarity to be so palpable. As Katherine explains, “it was like you hit this force field of ‘awe! I’m home… This ancient part of me is home!’”

Both Chanshi and Katherine felt the moving force of the Holy Spirit surging around them multiple times throughout the trip, especially while visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Housed within this church is the Stone of Anointing, which is believed to be where Christ’s body was laid following his death. Katherine was deeply moved by this. “When we touched the anointing slab [in the church]… it was electric! Internally, I was vibrating for quite a while.” Chibwe describes that she felt this spiritual surge as well. “There was a residual energy around that. It just stayed in you. It was in the actual building, in the air!”
