When Tracy DeNunzio started her now thriving business, Tradesy, she was an artist with no experience in technology, fashion or business. She’s here to tell you, in this episode of Role Modeling, that all you need to get started is an idea you’re passionate about.

Tradesy is a website and mobile app where you can sell designer fashion straight from your closet. As the founder and CEO, Tracy was able to see a passion to connect women and their closets grow into a community of users clocking in at 6 million women across the country and counting. But it wasn’t always easy for Tracy. At one point, she had to sell her car and rent out her bedroom on Airbnb and sleep on the couch in order to pay for rent. And she’s still that person, she shares: that person who is willing to do whatever it takes to see her dream take off and become successful.
