Jearlean Taylor was just three-years-old when she was diagnosed with a rare form of vaginal cancer. While Jearlelan has a few battle scars, she has not let them stop her from pursuing her modeling dreams.

At three-years-old, Jearlean Taylor was diagnosed with a rare vaginal cancer.

It was so severe, the doctors did not think she would survive. However, after chemotherapy, radiation and surgeries, she won the battle. And has a few battle scars to prove it… Mainly the two ostomy bags she is forced to wear for the rest of her life.

Having always dreamed of being a model,  Jearlean didn’t let any of this stop her from pursuing that dream. Now, she uses her platform to empower other cancer survivors to embrace their battles, their bodies and their power.

“I used to say, ‘Why me? Why cancer? Why ostomy bags?’” she said. “I thank God every day because He is showing me ‘Why not me?’”
