How to Be Fully Present

Our families deserve 100% of us. Wherever you are, those around you—your kids, spouse or friends—deserve all you.

Today, we have countless distractions vying for our attention; it’s easy to split our time and attention between everything, never giving our whole selves to any one thing of value.

In this vulnerable and powerful video, Mo Isom reflects on how becoming a mother impacted her perspective on what she gives herself and her time to. Once a top collegiate athlete, Mo recalls how the expectation was to give her all when training for her sport.

“If you were going to show up to work out and give anything less than 100%, you might as well not even be there.” Harnessing that lesson from the sports field, Mo has applied that approach to her role as a wife and mother.

Giving 100% to your family means being fully present. It means focusing solely on the person in front of you, often putting chores or social media on the back-burner. But as Mo shows us, giving ourselves completely to valuable relationships can give more to us than any tasks, activities or social media website ever could.

If you need a reminder that investing everything you have into what’s in front of you is well worth it, this video’s for you.
