Seth Dahl is back and answering the question we're all dying to know: how do we actually handle our children's public tantrums in public from a Godly perspective?

Seth Dahl has devoted his life to helping remind both parents and young children of the love of Christ. In this video, Seth explores a scenario that every parent knows all too well: the grocery store temper tantrum.

If your child begins to misbehave in public the experience can be exasperating, embarrassing and very stressful. It’s easy to react in anger in an attempt to try to regulate your child’s behavior. However, Seth offers incredible insights to help prevent parents from making a knee-jerk reaction to this behavior. He explains that our anger is rooted in embarrassment. “We are embarrassed of our kids’ behavior, so we react in anger.”

Taking it even one level deeper, this embarrassment is rooted in fear. “If we want to get rid of [anger] for real, embarrassment isn’t the actual problem either. The problem is that we are afraid of what other people are going to think about us as parents. So, our kids misbehave, we’re afraid, we react in anger to try to get them to change their behavior, so we can get rid of the fear of what other people may be thinking of us.”

However, Seth offers a solution! Check out this video to learn an incredible technique to neutralize these emotional situations.
