DAY 1 of “It’s a DeLIGHTful 25 Days of Christmas”

Maybe you lost your keys, forgot your wallet or spilled your coffee all over yourself on the way to work. Or maybe you just feel down for no apparent reason at all!

We promise—these bath goodies are truly “da bomb.” Your friend’s troubles will float away as they soak in a peppermint and lavender-scented bath, having you to thank for their newfound peace and a bad day turned not-so-bad.

Peppermint & Lavender Bath Bombs

You’ll Need:
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • ½ cup citric acid
  • ½ cup Epsom salt
  • ¾ tsp water
  • 2 ½ tsp coconut oil
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops peppermint essential oil
  • Bath bomb mold
Directions:
  1. Mix together baking soda, cornstarch, citric acid and Epsom salt.
  2. Stir together the water, coconut oil, lavender oil and peppermint oil in a separate bowl.
  3. Combine the liquid ingredients with the baking soda, cornstarch, citric acid and Epsom salt. Stir together.
  4. Separate mixture equally into two separate bowls. In one bowl, add blue food dye. In the other, add purple food dye.
  5. Shape the mixture into separate bath bomb molds.
  6. Combine one-half of the purple mold with one-half of the blue mold. Hold tight for 1 minute.
  7. Let the bath bombs dry for 24 hours.

 


 

Assembling the box, You’ll Need:
  • 1 plastic or wooden box
  • 1 mini succulent
  • 1 decorative candle
  • crinkle cut packaging paper
Directions:
  1. Place the crinkle cut paper into the wooden box.
  2. Fill the box by organizing the succulent, candle and bath bombs in decorative fashion.
  3. Add a note or card of your choice and voila! Make your friend’s day!
