When the pain encroaches, tell me who you are. Remind me of who I’ve called you to be. Mark out the remembrance, mark out the path you will take. Choose right here, right now, victory or dismay. Choose the path, declare who you are.

Pain, it’s only a moment. But you? You’re rooted in eternity. Pain doesn’t get to change your story. Pain’s well can’t tell you who you are. It can only tell you what it wants you to be. But I? I tell you who you are. I’ve rooted it and established it from the foundations of time. Your identity lives with the stars, strung there shining, beaming, telling a story.
