Detoxing or not, this drink will not only be delicious and healthy, but will also add that burst of energy you might desperately need in the early hours of the morning. Just gather up the fresh ingredients below and follow Kara’s simple step-by-step instructions for a smooth start to your day; as Kara shares, “Easy does not have to be unhealthy!”
2 cups spinach
1 tsp. fresh-grated ginger
1/2 cup frozen fruit
1 Tbsp. flax seeds
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 cup coconut milk
Combine ingredients in the order listed above.
Blend until ingredients are a nice, smooth texture.
Pour the smoothie into your favorite glass or to-go cup.
