Watch this video and follow his simple instructions for a bright and colorful rainbow lunch that is sure to make your child’s day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small, sealable container
  • your child’s favorite vegetable dip
  • brightly colored fruits and vegetables
  • 1 tortilla
  • sharp knife
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • paper and writing utensil
  • gold-colored crackers

Directions:

  1. Pour your child’s favorite vegetable dip into a small, sealable container. Place the container in the corner of the main compartment of the lunchbox.
  2. Arrange your child’s favorite fruits and vegetables into rainbow color order in the main compartment of the lunchbox.
  3. Using a sharp knife, cut a pot-of-gold-shaped piece from the middle of a tortilla.
  4. Use the first piece as a stencil to cut a second pot-shaped piece.
  5. Do the same with a slice of cheese, cutting a little extra on the top of the cheese for the gold.
  6. Write a note to your child letting them know that they are your treasure.
  7. Place the note in a small compartment of the lunchbox and cover the note with gold-colored crackers.
