If you could impart wisdom onto your younger self, what would your message be? In this video, we hear from evangelist Christine Caine, as she reflects on aging and entering her 50’s. She spent much of her younger years weighed down by the ghost of the abuse she faced in her childhood. “I came from a background of abuse, abandonment, rejection.”

However, as Christine aged, the Bible’s wisdom has offered her healing. “For me, it took me a long time to understand the scripture that said that ‘God is light, and in Him, there is no darkness.’ For me to get to a place where I truly understood that God has no dark side.. [even though] the men that abused me, had a dark side… To get to a place of understanding that He truly is good, He does good, He will work all things together for my good and His glory, that would have taken some of the stress out of [my younger years].”
