Need a dose of cute inspiration? This episode of Animal Classroom, dedicated to the meerkat, delivers adorableness at high octane.

Today, we meet the most extroverted mongoose around: meerkats love spending time with each other, always traveling in groups of 30-40. These guys have community on lock. By living in such large communities, meerkats provide support for each other as babysitters caring for the young pups in the clan.

If meerkats could speak, they would definitely say, “Dude, I got your back.” There is always a meerkat standing guard to alert the group if danger is headed their way. With this security patrol strategy, meerkats are able to run quickly to safety if a predator targets their clan.

As humans, it can become easy to isolate ourselves, but without a loving community, you may lack the help you need to feel supported when trials and hard times come your way.

Check out this video to explore even more adorable and practical lessons that the meerkat can teach us!
