For actress Ali Landry, following life's passion has given her immeasurable fulfillment and joy. Ali offers her tips to set your life on the same path.

“Life is a spectacular adventure,” says Ali Landry, with a smile. As an actress, model and busy mom, Ali’s life is certainly an adventure. The humble Hollywood beauty sat down with us to share how she balances work, life and family, all while pursuing the things she cares about most.

For Ali, it all starts with understanding your passions and setting priorities. “Do things that really ignite your soul,” she advises. For Ali, this means choosing to focus on her family. If there’s a role that comes up or a trip that temps her, she asks herself, “How will this impact them?” If it takes her family out of the top priority, she gives it a pass. These choices aren’t always easy- but in the long run, staying focused on what matters is always most important.

Having overcome terrible tragedy within her family, Ali is no stranger to those unexpected struggles and hurdles that come with life. She recommends a change of perspective to find peace amidst the despair or disappointment. “Go through it…There is light at the end of that struggle,” she promises. Ali assures us that the experience, hard as it may be, is meant to shape and mold you into the person you are destined to become.

How can we get started on following our passions? Ali has three important tips:

First, listen to your inner voice. Get in tune with what you want from life because you can’t reach your destination without first knowing where you’re heading.

Second, let go of the fear. People avoid taking risks because they are afraid of failing, but each failure is a lesson in progress. Accept that failure is going to happen but learn from it.

Finally, just do it. “Life is too short to have regrets,” says Ali. “So if there is something that you’re passionate about, there is no better time than now to go out and pursue it.”
