The singer has been busy touring across America with tours like Winter Jam that reach thousands of Christian teens across America. But Danny will be resting soon with his family in Nashville “We don’t have any animals, but all my neighbors have cows,” he told People Magazine. Gokey’s family moved to a new farm as of recent, “We just picked this place last summer, and I’m just thanking God for that moment of respite.”

Gokey has two boys and a girl, that keep him busy. The excitement for the new baby is contagious, “These kids are just over the top, over their heads,” Gokey states, “now they’re all making their declarations of what they think the baby is. We’ll see. We don’t know yet. I think it’s a boy.” His wife Leyicet is ready to meet the new little one and anxious to see her pregnancy out.

Haven’t Seen It Yet is the newest single off of Gokey’s upcoming album. The message hits close to Danny who tragically lost his first wife after a routine congenital heart surgery. “The reason I wrote that song was because I’ve been through so many seasons of brokenness and painful moments,” Gokey shares. “I think everyone knows the most noticeable one that I went through publicly was the loss of a spouse. I walked out of that one better than I did going in—stronger, more grounded and more passionate. Haven’t Seen It Yet is a song for people who are going through disappointment. It’s like, ‘Hey, good things are up ahead. Don’t throw in the towel yet.’
